This Month Kicked of the ANNUAL JSU HONOR BAND.

This is ONE of MY FAVORITE EVENTS OF THE YEAR.

Students from throughout the South Arrive on Campus for a Weekend of Making New Friends and Music. Special for Me- is Seeing Some of Our Former JSU Students that are Now Successful Music Educators Bring Their Most Talented Students for US to Work With. It Warms My Heart to See Their Success and Catch Up.

Here I am catching up with Brandon Reburn, Alumnus of JSU and Band Director at Sweet Water High School. He made the Best Pizzas in Music History- all in the Name of LEARNING!

This Year as a SPECIAL PRESENTATION Raffe Reeds (That’s ME!) Partnered with Clara Vargas from Scorpio Reeds to Offer Band Directors a Special Clinic on the Starting Students Successfully on the Double Reeds.
