Last weekend we had a great day full of Reed Making, Chamber Music, Instrument Maintenance, and finishing with a Recital at our Second Annual JSU Double Reed Day.

Here our Guest Bassoonist, Benjamin Coehlo, leads the bassoon choir. Throughout the day he advised on embouchure, fingerings, bassoon maintenance and taught Reed Making.

Dane Philipsen, of the Atlanta Opera, helped our students learn how to use our NEWLY DONATED and Refurbished Gouging Machines! Special Thanks to Erica Howard, our Guest from JSU Double Reed Day 2013, for refurbishing and setting the machines last Fall.
